Just hours before she passed, Sheila Marsh, dying from cancer, was granted her final with. The hospital arranged for Bronwen, who Sheila raised from a foal, to come to the hospital to say goodbye to his dying human friend. Stories like these have to warm your heart and it is hard to keep a dry eye. The bond between a horse and his owner or caretaker can form so strong it will not be broken in death either.

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, Sheila’s daughter Tina said:
I was crying my eyes out and all the nurses were crying too. She took comfort out of it and it was a beautiful moment. She loved her horses and she loved and adored all animals. She had six horses, three dogs, three cats and other animals.
